On Saturday, 12th October 2013, the WAGS gathered in the entrance of Sainsbury’s Superstore in Darlington for a fundraising concert.  Earlier in the week we had very nearly cancelled the concert as we were concerned that we would not have enough ladies to perform due to illness and husband’s being sent away at short notice (one of the difficulties of military life) causing problems with childcare but in true WAG fashion, the ladies pulled out all the stops and we were able to go ahead.

Initially, we were planning on doing two thirty minute sets with some bag packing in between but we were enjoying it so much that the first set alone was over an hour and we swapped bag packing for more singing!

The people of Darlington proved to be extremely generous and we raised over £615.00 for choir funds, which is a fantastic boost so a huge thank you to everyone who supported us on the day!
