Given a chance to sing to an audience we are there, even better when we can take our normal Thursday rehearsal into our community! Thanks to Tesco Catterick Garrison for allowing us to take up their valuable floor space at the entrance, enabling us to set up, smile, laugh, takeover and exercise our lungs for an hour and a half!
The wonderful shoppers filled up our collecting buckets, as well as their trolleys, whilst appreciating our efforts on an extensive set list. We also welcomed the opportunity to rehearse two of Kerry's selected songs The Lord Is Our Shepherd and Joyful, Joyful for the celebration of her life service, we were able to video them to send out to all our past WAGS to rehearse with before making their way here on Saturday. We were also able to give a second performance, of our new favourite 'Let The River Run'
We will be performing, locally, again soon and this was great preparation for the Charity Concert for Jack Weaver, CLIC Sargent & The RVI at Colburn Village Hall on 16 June for a charity dinner and concert, doors open at 19.15 and tickets are £10 available from Angie Dale 07833 490502 and Vicky Weaver 07976 879664
