Wow! What an afternoon. The WAGS have just performed at Party in the Park held in Coronation Park right in the center of the Garrison. It was such a lovely atmosphere and we had so much fun performing right on our door step.
The WAGS were lucky enough to be the opening act, starting with the National Anthem and 'I vow to thee my country'. We then sang a fantastic set of songs old and new, culminating in one of our favourites, 'Sister Act'.
A few of the audience members were willing to film us while we were performing so we have videos of our singing. This one is of Viva La Vida and Gospel Train.
Feedback from the audience about our performance was amazing, with lots of comments about how lovely we sounded and how confident we looked. There were even some ex-members in the audience cheering us on.
During the day we had our WAGS stall manned by the ladies of our choir. We spent the day talking to lots of people from around the Garrison and we hopefully will get a few new members as a result.
