WAGS Join Forces With Northallerton Male Voice Choir

Saturday, 29th November saw the WAGS join forces with the Northallerton Male Voice Choir for a joint concert at Thirsk School.  The concert was raising money for Thirsk Community Care (http://www.tscca.org.uk), a very worthy charity that does some great work in and around the Thirsk area.

Both choirs did two sets individually covering a wide range of genres from pop to shows and more traditional songs.  The WAGS were particularly impressed by the quality of the choreography that the Male Voice Choir demonstrated, they could teach us a thing or two!  At the end of the concert we joined forces to sing Rhythm of Life which, despite being a challenging song at the best of times and having slightly different arrangements, sounded fantastic and came together brilliantly.

We loved working with the men and hope that we can do a repeat performance again in the future!
