Choir Thanks Lord Ronaldshay

Over the past two years, the choir has benefitted from the support of Robin Dundas, Earl of Ronaldshay, who lives just outside Richmond at the beautiful Aske Estate.  Lord Ronaldshay previously made a donation towards the cost of developing the new website and, in return, we had the pleasure of singing in his family's chapel at their Nine Lessons and Carols service in December 2013.

More recently, Lord Ronaldshay very kindly agreed to cover the cost of providing performance folders embossed with the choir's logo for the choir to use when we have to sing songs outside of our normal repertoire, such as hymns.  Whilst we learn as much as possible from memory there are times when this isn't practical so the folders enable us to look professional when we do need to have words in our hands!  They proved to be invaluable over the Christmas period when we were singing the more traditional carols and also had a lot of new ladies joining us who didn't have time to learn all the songs (although they did a great job of learning what they could!).

We are very grateful to Lord Ronaldshay and his family for their on-going support.
